Power Bait // Destiny

Fishermen are always obsessing over lore and legend...but it's really not that complicated. We poked some fun at all the superstition by positioning Power Bait as a deity in itself.

Body:

Fishermen have a thousand reasons to explain why the fish are biting. Some tiny little inkling that tells them it's time. But sometimes reality is less complex than we make it out to be. It’s a fish. It doesn’t pray. It doesn’t count beads. And it certainly doesn’t understand the light at the end of the tunnel. Not until it’s too late, that is.

Body:

There is no such thing as righteousness. No sin. No sacrament. Not in fishing at least. Sure, any fisherman will tell you of his fears and superstitions. What’s right and what’s wrong. But at the end of the day there's a hook and a fish. The rest is up to fate. And “fate,” is on your side.

Body:

A lot of things happen above the surface. Plenty of them are worth believing in. Below the surface, life is a bit less enlightened. Fish don’t search for salvation. They don’t sacrifice for the greater good. And they sure as hell don’t interpret scripture. But they know temptation. And when they see it, it’s as alluring as the apple itself.
